Did you know that the banana is the most popular fruit in the world. People spend more than £10billion on them globally.......
They have been cultivated for more than 4000 years!.....More banana facts coming soon!

I thought it wasnt a fruit but a herb?? so how can it be the most popular fruit? hey hey hey hey?
Yeah, I was about to make the exact same point - great minds think alike, eh, Mr Snell? It was a bit of a slip-up, but given Miss Johnson's memory issues at the moment, I'm not gonna make a big thing about it and will fully forgive her.
I like green bananas.
You know on the matrix, when those binary numbers go down the screen vertically? If you scroll up and down the blog's front page it looks like that. It makes me dizzy though...

Like some sort of impressionable sheep, I tried it, and he's right -it does.
I am going to ask a question concerning the electrolysis of sodium choloride to get different stuffffff (from C6d) because all I did with Mr.WhoeveritwasIcan'tevenrememberhisnamenow was draw a slug with salt on looking very unhappy.......
What is the difference between Saturated aqueous brine, a concentrated aqueous solution of sodium chloride, a dilute solution of sodium chloride and molten sodium choride? (I think that the word 'saturated' confused me a bit). What different elements do you get at the electrodes for each reaction?
Even trying to write this question confused me AAAHHHHHH.....
Good news everyone! After the stress of explaining to my mother:
A: Why I let Fitz into my house despite him being banned.
B: Why I "let" Tim hide a bottle of Pinot Grigio in my bed
C: Why I let Tim and Anna sit on the cream sophas which noone's allowed to sit on.
D: Why Fitz had stolen half a toilet roll.
E: Why Bogs left the seat up.
F: Why Andy and Sophie left Top Trump Cards behind the sofa.
G: Why the furniture in the living room had been moved round.
H: And why the cream cake Fitz bought her was 5 days out of date.
... I went on the yacapaca quiz, and scored 88%. I believe that this is higher than Mr Snell's score, and, once you factor in the extreme stress i mentioned above, it's pretty much equal to 100%. Yaayyyyyyyyy
Brine is a solution of a number of different dissolved salts for example sea water. The main salt in brine is sodium chloride.....so aqueous sodium chloride solution is dilute i.e sodium chloride dissolved in lots of water. Aqueous brine is dissolved sodium chloride and other salts in lots of water - dilute. If you evaporate of the water the solution becomes increasingly more concentrated....i.e. less water. It is only saturated when mo more salt will physically dissolve.....or from the other angle if you remove any of the water salt starts to crystallise out. Molten sodium chloride does not involve water at all.....part 2 of the answer to follow if you're happy with this bit?
By the way bananas are harvested every day of the year...
I heard That If You translate The background into binary then you get a summary of "Mein Kampf"
It doesn't sound likely, but i'll give it a try.
okay I get it so far, now awaiting part 2. This is so exciting!
Oh yeah, now I'm Isaac Mendez WOO!
Andy, I don't want to have to be the one to tell you this, but you're not Isaac Mendez. He's fictional. I'm sorry.
But my paintings say that I am! And they are of the future! And I didn't tell you about the picture I painted of your house getting trashed because I was afriad I would render the rules of space and time meaningless, but now I know it's okay because I painted a picture that says it's okay in the future! yay. So next time your house is going to get trashed I can tell you about it. I win!
and i would like to say that if you are indeed isaac mendes then I hate to tell you but you died two years ago!
Ah, but Lord of Physics, you may be mistaken. You would be correct in saying I COULD have died, but with the copious plot twists and developments in heros there's no telling what's going to happen next! The probability that Isaac Mendez could be reborn is so unlikely to happen that it has to. Do you see? Why, Isaac Mendez could evem come back tonight! Wouldn't that be great? I really hope he does now.
He'd teach Sylar a thing or two... about painting
but you said you were he so if you dont know if you are coming back then how can you be him because if you were him then you would have already painted the future of yourself being reborn and so you would know what was happening! ps i havent watched last nights yet as was at football(and yes i know we were rubbish and are going to get relegated but i have nearly lost my voice as i sang so much!!) so dont tell me any spoilers or i will go sylar on you!!!
Hmmmm - back to chemistry methinks! In answer to the question what products do you get when you electrolyse molten sodium chloride, concentrated sodium chloride solution, saturated brine solution and dilute sodium choride solution/brine.....here goes!
If you electrolyse molten sodium chloride the only 2 possible products are sodium (liquid) and chlorine gas as there are only sodium and chloride ions present.
If you electrolyse concentrated sodium chloride solution or saturated/concentrated brine you still get chlorine at the anode but this time you get hydrogen gas at the cathode. This is because there are now more ions present - sodium, hydrogen, hydroxide and chloride. The chlorine and hydrogen are removed so the sodium and hydroxide ions are left behind. Your other product therefore is a solution of sodium hydroxide that becomes increasingly more concentrated the longer you allow the electrolysis to run for. If you had a saturated brine solution, your sodium hydroxide product would have any other dissolved salts that were present in the brine mixed in with it.
If your starting product is a dilute solution then whilst you still get hydrogen at the cathode, oxygen now comes of at the anode. This comes from the hydroxide ion.
4OH- - 4e- -------> O2 + H2O
This could be because there are statistically so many more hydroxide ions present.
Happy? ish? :)
Happy???? Im ecstatic! that should send me off to slepp nicely tonight. thank you!
and before any clever cloggs start i know i spelt sleep wrong it was to make the point that I am now sleepy!!
Lord of Physics you spelt sleep wrong. You typed slepp which sounds really funny! HAHAHAHA! Oh yeah, and Sylar killed me just as I was painting myself being reborn; just as well really because it was a terrible picture... Oh yeah and I'm not reborn yet and I was sad, then the weather got really windy and blew me away and we never saw alice again. oopsie. Oh and thank you miss for typing lots on my question - I think I can make sense of it all with a couple more readings. £"!$%$£!^%$^$"^%"£^!£$$^"£&%& woo!
I Like The Way Sir Spelt Slepp, Its Looks Ikearish, Occasionally I personally Put A Double Constanant At the End Of Words For That Very Reason, Such As Plann, Its All Good Funn I Think.
I'm Going To Comment On How Few People Now Use This Site, Very Few People Now Use This Site. I Suppose it May Become More Popular Over Study Leave, But Only The Winds Know.
